Rabbi Eva Goldfinger wrote “PESACH 101: Handbook for a Cultural Celebration of Passover” on behalf of her community, Oraynu Congregation for Humanistic Judaism in Toronto, Canada, and has generously made the PDF available to all who are interested. You can download it here.
In the introduction, she explains the purpose: “Many Jews may not be religious but want to celebrate the holidays, including Pesach or Passover in a way that is cultural and meaningful, and has integrity for them. For Humanistic Jews there is no required order or content. This handbook includes a suggested order and content. Each person can choose what is meaningful for them. We hope this handbook will help you understand the holiday and its evolution and give you ideas about how you can celebrate the holiday at home in a humanistic way.”
